As an A2LA (American Association for Laboratory Accreditation) ISO/IEC 17025 accredited company, FMS specializes in the calibration, repair and maintenance of Instron® and similar type universal tensile test equipment. Our engineers are experts in the field, and have extensive knowledge and training for several generations of Instron® instruments. Also, as materials’ testing becomes more technologically advanced, we offer full engineering capabilities for customized applications. Our service department helps both small businesses and Fortune 500 companies worldwide with their equipment and quality control problems through free telephone equipment basic trouble shooting and consultation.

Our Services
•FMS provides onsite repairs, maintenance and calibrations using NIST traceable standards and ASTM methods of Verification. We have years of technical expertise and knowledge to maintain your instruments in top condition.
•FMS world-class engineers that can make repairs and calibrations at your site, at reasonable cost.
•FMS offers expert in-house repair. Our laboratory has several models of Instron® 1011, 1120, 1130, 4200 and 4500 in-house systems. This allows us to bench test and repair assemblies in-house, saving you onsite fees and downtime.
•If the OEM is not able to repair your tensile tester, or if you are told it is too old or obsolete, we have solutions for your problems, at a great cost savings to you. If you have an older test instrument, call us for a list of supported machines and equipment.
Parts
•We offer an extensive inventory of new and used Instron® parts, grips and machines. We have a large supply of 1120, 1130, 4200, 4300 and 4400 and other hard to find parts and equipment.
•Force Measurement Services, Inc. is an A2LA (American Association for Laboratory Accreditation) ISO/IEC 17025 accredited calibration laboratory.
•Our scope of accreditation covers the parameters related to Universal Tensile Test equipment, along with balances and scales.
